The Brainy’s annual Wine competition is TONIGHT
It has started exactly three years ago..
“The INTERNATIONAL competition of.. you need to find the price of the wine you drink.”
It started purely by chance because a friend of my father Danielo’s said he was a wine connoisseur due to his many trips to Europe and the expensive bottles in his cellar.
(Which nobody has ever tasted a sip)
Every time a bottle of wine was opened, he would swirl his glass to agitate the wine in a circle like a toilet does, then always follow it with a slow sip of wine, then the mouth-rinsing method, then a dubious comment about the wine to show off his extensive knowledge in this area.
It was always the same modus operandi.
Except once, three years ago, my father Danielo called BULLSH*T.
“I’m sure you wouldn’t even be able to tell which wine comes from the convenience store and which wine is expensive.”
“EXCUSE ME!!”, said his friend.
“OH YES, I CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE.”
(Oh, Oh! Ego has been hurted)
So the rules were established.
Each couple would draw from a hat the value of a bottle of wine they would have to buy:
$10, $40, $80, $120
All of this was supervised by a neutral person. Then, that evening, each couple had to say the value of the bottle they were tasting.
The first year, my father’s friend, the connoisseur, got 0 out of 4.
0 OUT OF 4…
Just because he “seems” to know something or act as an ”export” doesn’t mean he really does. Many people are very good at projecting an image of themselves that isn’t really who they are. The same goes for online.
But one thing to remember is that tonight it’s not just four couples drinking wine.
It’s four couples drinking wine as part of a competition to find the value of the bottle they’re drinking.
Different positionning.
Much more exciting. It’s based on an origin story and an experience that others don’t bring to the table.
Will keep you update on the BIG WINNER.
P.S. You’ve just read a true story of how I managed to stand out from the crowd. Now, I’m pretty sure you also want to stand out in a saturated market. Don’t rely on AI to do it for you. You’re playing tooo safe and it hurts you
1080 minutes ago, we went to buy winter boots for my children at the store to face the bitter Canadian cold.
Total CHAAAAAAOS.
With four children… it’s madness trying on boots while the others are not DESTROYING* (coughhh, coughh) the piles of shoe boxes.
I can say without a shadow of a doubt that my wife Josy and I have no authority when we are at the shopping center.
And the other challenge is when you buy a pair of boots, just by the time you get to the checkout and walk to your car, the boots no longer fit because their feet grow too fast at that age.
But that reminds me of something.
When you’re young, you don’t want to stand out from the crowd, you don’t want to be different from others. If all the other kids have blue boots, then we want blue boots too.
That way we can go unnoticed. No one will be able to laugh at us.
And later, when we develop our own personalities, some of us no longer want to be like everyone else. If everyone else has blue boots, then we’ll get red ones… just because no one else has red ones.
Nothing to do with being strategic or something.. it’s just the ”I’M not like them” mantra.
We want to assert ourselves.
But in business, even more in the information business like us,
if you don’t have the numbers of sales you have in mind.. the reason is obvious to me..
YOU ARE PLAYING TOO SAFE
If you are NOT receiving hate mail, social media trolls, insults, or anything of the sort, you are playing it too safe.
I call it ”Fan mail”.
You are probably wearing a mask, you restrict yourself and you are not doing the job you are supposed to be doing.
You censor yourself.
When you ”TURN ON” this feature in your brain, you will attract a pool of buyers that will love you for what you are, AND repeal some at the same time.
But believe it or not, even people who HATE you may buy your product because they respect you for who you are. Because you are real.
P.S. If you want to create a good infoproduct fast (without AI) that attract repeated buyers, then IP24 is what you are looking for.

Here’s How To Build Freedom In A World That Has Forgotten Family
I can afford to have four children and homeschool them, but today’s world is NOT designed to raise a family.

My wife and I are going against the grain of our generation. We have more children than the norm, and we raise our children ourselves instead of leaving this important task to strangers who don’t share our values.
You got the proof right there: 1,62 births per woman in the USA.. not even enough to replace the current generation.
With both parents now working, time is becoming increasingly limited. According to Google Trends, people are increasingly looking for a second job to make ends meet. Not good at all. Where is the time to take care of your kid?

Believe it or not, but when my children were enrolled in daycare two days a week, we heard several comments from parents who said, “Finally, some peace,” when they dropped off their children. Many of them would take their children to daycare when they were on vacation so they could have some peace.
I can’t even think of doing it.
That’s why I dedicated my life to achieving the vision I wanted. To be fully present for my children. To be able to show them life, my values, play with them, and give them the tools to face life once I’m no longer here.
For example, something I picked up from Ed Mylett at one of his conferences in Nashville. He told the story that every night before bed, he would “talk about” his children. Here’s a template:
‘’(Insert the name of your child) You are beautiful, you are strong, you have confidence in yourself, and you go for it even when you are afraid, you are appreciated, you have many friends, we are lucky to have you with us, and we love you very much. Later on, you will help a great many people. Good night’’
Ed explained that after a while, the children asked to talk about themselves before bedtime, and even mentioned that their friend had told them that their father never talked about them at home and how cool that was.
..And let me tell you that it is TRUE.
My kids are requesting the ‘’let me talk about you’’ tradition every night.
So I created the condition to do so?
I didn’t want to build the next Amazon or Google, no way.
I just wanted something I would be comfortable with, that would provide me with everything I needed and wouldn’t take up all my time like it did in the past.
Something I would be proud of and that would be for the long term. Not a trend or anything like that. I wanted a simple model that had leverage. That’s why I came up with the word :
‘’FAMPRENEUR’’
Family-first business. We sell to many, we use leverage, and we spend the majority of our time with our family.
It’s really simple. You only need three things:
Traffic, List, Offer.
If you are interested in FAMPRENEUR’s vision, you can join my email list here www.yannbrainy.com
I’ve just tested a new app to build your list
I’ve just tested a kinda new app to build your email list,
And since you’re an email subscriber to Yann Brainy or… a Brainers, you have the advantage of access to privileged information compared to others.
The app is called Sparkloop.
I haven’t tested all of its features, but I found two that are pretty good.
You can refer people who subscribe to your email list to other newsletters (up to 5 referrals) and get paid for each successful referral that meets the established engagement criteria. This is essentially done via a widget that pops up once the person has entered their email address. It’s a bit like an upsell in a funnel.
So in theory, you can pay for advertising, for example, to build your list, and if people subscribe to other newsletters once they’ve opted in to your list, you’ll get paid and therefore recoup the money you spent on your ads.
In theory…
But from what I can see, many people don’t meet the commitment criteria required by these newsletters, and in the end, you only get paid a small portion.
Another great feature is that you can set a monthly budget and an amount per lead, and then other newsletters can refer you.
I tested it with a budget of $300 for a month at $3 per lead. I got a little over 300 leads, but only a small portion decided to confirm their email address (double opt-in). So at least I’m not paying for bots on my list. Always double opt-in.
But the good thing is that I’ve already had a few sales with these referrals. So there’s potential to build an email list without social media.
I’m still unsure about the quality, but time will tell.
It reminds me that a few years ago, before Sparkloop and Beehiv appeared on the scene, there were super affiliates who used the same principles, but manually.
He added a note in small print at the bottom of the opt-in button stating that, as a bonus, they would be added to four other newsletters. He then sold the lead to these four newsletters for $1-2, for example. So he generated $4-8 per lead before even selling anything.
And if their cost per lead was less than that, they could scale quickly and build an email list completely free of charge.
Sparkloop simply took the same principle, but made it better structured and accessible to everyone. Except that when it’s accessible to everyone, sometimes the quality can suffer.
If you want something that it more underground to build your email list, but far more effective, very little known to the general public. Opt-In Oasis is what you are looking for.
It’s not cheap, but it shouldn’t break the bank as well.
You can have it for 117$.
But a few warning. It’s basically a really short workshop (under 60 min) that will help you find publishers to put a simple 150 characters ad in their digital real estate and build a massive email list of buyers.
The sounds is mehhhh. My english is not perfect, but the information is highly valuable.
Now hurry up before there’s a second increase:
You will get access to it later today.
P.S. if you want a product to sell AND get a proven system for your business, take this 5-day challenge.

My unsollicited advice on using AI to create your product.
This morning, I will put my boooomers’s hat and give you an unsollicited advice.
And since you are a one of The Brainers as a subscriber of the Yann Brainy’s newsletter, I’m pretty sure you will do something great with this information.
..The Brainers, a word I’ve created to call my email subscribers since they are not your average online business owners. They can think by themselves.
So, should you use AI to create your product?
Yes and No.
The only way I use AI to create my product is for a lead magnet. Something you give for free in exchange of an email adresse, because AI, in this case, is … pretty dang good to digest and organize informations.
But for my paid product, I create it myself. Because if you can’t put your very limited time to create something, don’t expect your audience to consume it with their limited time.
And.. since I want repeated buyers, long-term buyers.. AI would simply destroy my reputation, the long-term relationship I’ve build with them and my long-term business goal.
But, let’s talk about creating a good lead magnet with AI to generate you a tons of traffic and email subscribers.
There is something you can create from just one page, which isn’t really difficult to create, but which is extremely valuable to your audience.
For example, for a fitness coach. I could create a one-page comparison table of all the health apps that people can download and compare them against each other according to several criteria.
Price, free trial, type of training, required level, strengths, etc.
All this in an Excel spreadsheet.
If someone is interested in fitness, do you think they would be interested in getting their hands on this?
My distribution strategy would simply be to talk about it on social media and then give it away for free. And somewhere on the table, I would put a content upgrade such as “The 5 exercises I do every morning to stay in shape” or something similar.
If people want it, they have to give their email address. That way, you only have highly qualified people on your list who are interested in fitness, and you’re not putting any unhealthy pressure on them.
This is just one way you can make good use of AI, but if you want a complete system for building your online business, you can take this 5-day challenge.
Unfortunatly, there’s a difference on the free newsletter and the paid products, which is why the challenge is 17$.
But I need to warn you about something. If you think you can just push a button and succeed, you are in the wrong list and please do me a favor, don’t buy the product, it won’t help you and it won’t help me since I’m the one who is selling you this product.

Why writers like us are made different
I am one of the few people who still writes their own emails, and that’s a good thing.
I feel like I’m getting closer to my audience every day by writing my own emails and sharing bits and pieces of my everyday life with them.
It’s a bit like having a drink with friends and chatting about life on the patio outside.
On the surface, it may seem that every niche is too saturated to stand out, but if you look beyond the surface, you realize that there isn’t much competition.
And that’s something I incorporate into my children’s education.
I homeschool them and teach them everything with a piece of paper and a pencil. I give them dictations the old-fashioned way. We draw pictures the old-fashioned way, but sometimes I show them a few things on the computer so they don’t remain ignorant.
My daughter has a journal where she can write down her thoughts and stories whenever inspiration strikes or she simply needs to relax. She’s already one step ahead of her generation with this, and probably two generations ahead of her as well.
Da Insschtagram generation, I call them.
Knowing how to capture ideas when they come and being able to do something with them, whatever that may be, is a skill that is being lost.
Ideas simply die if you let them die, and I realize that people are on the verge of losing their brains right now with ChatGPT.
While others will wet their pants with their single brain cell, we writers are making progress every day and we’re getting paid for it.
By writing your own stuff, whether it’s to relax or generate income, you create connections in your brain.
And the more you develop those connections, the easier it will be, the further you can explore your mind. But since I have a capitalist mind and live in a capitalist country, why not get paid to do this?
If you have the desire to write your own stuff but need a system to get paid too, you can consider this 5-day challenge, which is currently $17.
AI is great for a lot of things, but not writing your emails.
