I’m currently striding through the Arc’teryx coat section of my local sports store. You’d almost think my maneuver was igneous, like a newborn mammal that knows how to drink its mother’s milk.
This GUY knows where he is going.
For context, I bought mine 12 years ago and it’s giving up the ghost, so unfortunately I have to replace it… put it behind me and move on to the future.
For those who don’t know Arc’teryx, it’s high-performance linens for different types of sports that are way too expensive and made in a few countries where labor is cheap, like Vietnam and Bangladesh AKA children might be involved in making them. Fortunately, they started making 5% of their whole production in Canada.
So, I take two colors of the same model, designed for hiking in slightly cool weather, or a cool night camping in front of a campfire (since we are doing minimalist camping this summer).
Brown and flashy orange – those are my two choices.
I tried the Brown – Not so bad!
I tried the Orange- Not so bad!!
I ask my wife, Josy, Which one looks better?
”They both look good”, she replied.
AArghhhh! That’s not helping, I thought!
..I’m not sure which to choose, because I like both of them.
In the end, I left the store
EMPTY
..nothing at all, because I wasn’t sure of my choice.
The false-choice dilemma
The color makes absolutely no difference to the performance of the piece of equipment or even to my own performance.
It’s exactly like people who design their logo for several weeks, thinking they’re making progress with their project, but in the end, they’re just tinkering. There are countless examples of people doing this, but in the end, it has ZERO impact on their overall performance and ability to generate revenue online.
They are specific actions you need to do and particular actions you SHOULD NOT do to succeed online.
When you focus on action that you SHOULD NOT do, you feel like you’re making progress, moving forward, but in reality, nothing happens. How long can you keep doing this? A long time… unfortunately. That’s why this program has sorted out the dos and don’ts and focuses ONLY on clear, specific actions to move forward.
