A few years ago, before everyone became a coach’s coach, there was a young guy who advertised on facebook to promote his infoproduct. The guy was DESTROYING it. Several million a year, working only a few hours a week, satisfied customers and I know this from a reliable source.
Still, most of the comments on his ad were negative and laughed at the guy’s spelling mistakes, sentence structure and other stupid things.
Spelling police, as I called them:
A soulless being who constantly seeks to engage with other people on the internet to denigrate them, because he doesn’t feel good about himself, feels like a failure and needs to take out his frustration on someone.
Result:
A TON of engagement pushes the advertising reach even further and signs up even more customers. From the outside, you might just see an ad full of mistakes, but it’s often in the details that everything happens. Most people miss out on the important stuff without realizing it.
Today, I’m almost out of social media, I have one account left and I plan to delete it this week. I’m still thinking about it. It’s full of propaganda, hate messages, comparisons between everyone and robots.
AND I hate robots!
People are using AI to post fake images and fake videos, with other AI accounts scouring social media to post fake comments to boost their fake accounts. It looks like a walk on Hollywood boulevard to me.
In short, nothing social on social media anymore.
For my part, I focus on the relationship with my audience and I take the time to write my own emails every day because my audience is the best, they have a high standard and ask good questions all the time.
