Lupin refers to a gentleman thief and master of disguise in an old French series from the 1900s.

There are two kinds of thieves. The first group belongs to those who steal your content and make it ”theirs”. They have a huge bag of ”swipe” files to get ”inspirations” when needed. Swipe and deploy is their Mantra. No sh*t they don’t want to use their real name online and do faceless thing.
Do you remember the ‘’special ones’’ in your school class that you used to say to yourself, I can’t wait to see what they’re going to do later in life?
You got your answer.
Those kids have grown up, and they swipe and deploy.
The other gang is much more subtle, more devious. The AI. It steals all your writing, photos, and everything else you’ve put online. And other people use it like an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet—no remorse for creating content.

Stealing is bad, and like the famous quote:
”Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake”
NOBODY WILL TELL IT OUTLOUD, but..
PEOPLE STEALING YOUR STUFF IS GOOD FOR YOU
ONLY IF…
You have a unique style, and people recognize it. The more people steal your content, the more people will see it and will call the person, referring them to you.
You need to reach the states of: Oh, it’s Yann Brainy’s style he is doing. That way you will grow your influence more and more..
And just in case, I am TOTALLY against stealing other people’s stuff. If I see someone on my list doing it, I’ll ban them right away. That’s not how you build a long-term business, ‘specially with your real name.
You can do a few things to protect Arsène Lupin stealing your content, like copyright and all those things, pursue them (I hope you will do it), but at the end, there’s a ton of thing they can do to steal your content.
Don’t have the player, hate the game.
Use this fact to grow your brand bigger. BUT, there’s one powerful thing you can do to make your brand grow bigger and make them foolish if they try to steal from you, and it’s the same reason among many for your clients to buy your produck
