When my Granpa used to have a mustache and a pulse (Something useful these days), he had a few grocery stores to his name,
I spent my childhood there, spending time between rows to eat whatever I wanted, often more than I should have—never been worried about the price of anything. It was possible because GranPa & GranMa had planted a tree before me for shade, and they started from the bottom.
This was GranPa’s journey :
GranPa not successful – started as a grocery clerk ————- > grocery clerk and an overnight commercial cleaning company to clean floors 7 days a week ————> sold his commercial cleaning company ————> bought his first grocery store (still active today for one of his kid aka My uncle) ————-> bought his second, third and fourth grocery store, living his best life with luxury cars.
For the readers of Yann Brainy who may think they are getting too old to succeed, I will let you know that GranPa was almost forty years old when he made his first million.
But, when you think of affiliate marketing, nobody will point out and take inspiration of grocery store because they are all stuck in their bubble doing some incestual things – Copying others videos from influencers while adding a twist of a few words, market a PLR course to the same crowd who is trying to sell you a course.
They don’t scream everywhere to convince you to buy their things to make 10,000 a month.. No. They’re doing their things pretty quietly, me like it.
Grocery stores are selling everyone else’s products on the market and taking a cut of the profits. They just need a reason for you to come, which is their physical store with all the food you need.
In affiliate words, it would be your lead magnet the reason for them to come,
Then son, a question for you,
WHY DO YOU THINK EGGS, MILK, AND BREAD ARE AT THE BACK OF THE STORE?
…BECAUSE
…BECAUSE
They want you to be exposed to as many products as possible when you reach the back of the store. My GranPa used to offer a discount on these products, often at a loss, so each time someone bought a discounted product, GranPa was losing money. He was betting that people would make a purchase.
Does it trigger something in you?
When selling a low-ticket product with Facebook ads, it is more likely that you will initially lose money, but then, on the backend, you will make a profit.
This is pretty much it :
Lead magnet > low-ticket product > affiliate products
Or
Grocery store > discounted products > other products.
And when you know how to create your infoproduct the right way, you can leave your competition far behind because they won’t do it. This work even MORE if you sell the same products as everyone else. When you create your own infoproduct, you’ll feel like a valid business owner. You have created something and it’s probably the ”secret” you were waiting for – even if it’s not really a secret when you know how to do it.
