As I woke up minutes ago, I’m putting on my Saturday-morning pajamas, a good old cotton fleece, my pants with holes in them, and woolen slippers that look like Converse shoes (it really does) a grandmother had made for me a long time ago, and so soon I hear a familiar sound:
“CHAOS”
As parents of 4 children, hearing chaos is reassuring. When the sound stops, you know something is cooking, and they think that the old man in his mid-thirties was never young either! ”He won’t know” .. Ah, we never learn!
So, this morning, my wife is hosting a drawing workshop to keep them occupied.
”…Oh, that’s a nice drawing, Maggy. Can you describe it to me” – I say to my daughter between sips of black coffee (as black as my soul).
(It looks like a Doritos with a girl’s face on it and a dress)
“A girl”, – Maggy ..in a cheerful tone.
My next Target – Zack.
”Zack..can you describe…. ah no let it go… another potato man..”
(I probably got 100 of them in my collection file)
”Tom, can you describe…”
Ah no.. let’s just do lines on a blank piece of paper.
(Don’t tell him, they go straight to the garbage)
I’m pretty proud of them. We’re currently working on focus time and creativity. What I’ve noticed in observing young people who spend more and more time on tablets, computers, cell phones and video games at a very young age is that they’re losing their ability to focus for long periods of time. It’s the same constant when we go to the park; families stay 20-30 minutes and then leave. We… We can stay for 3 hours at the park, just playing quietly.
And I have not talked about the TikTok things..
I’m pretty sure it’s a consideration to make our kids dumper so they won’t be a threat
…And I am not here to say I am better than anyone else, I got plenty of defaults that you will learn through my emails and not to mention the extra effort it takes. Sure, it’s easier to turn on the TV and let them do it.
That’s why I’ve structured my bizzneess this way. To spend as much time as possible with my family. There are two things I love in life, my family and internet marketing.
