A few days ago I wrote an email about my own experience with blind leading the blind, and Yanovich (me) is PISSED OFF that people don’t think for themselves (yet).

 

I was having a discussion with a marketer about a statement that a LOT of people have on their site, namely:

 

“This site is not a part of the Facebook website or Facebook Inc. Additionally, this site NOT endorsed by Facebook in any way. FACEBOOK is a trademark of FACEBOOK, Inc.”

 

(Do the test, you will see, ask that question to those people, you may be surprised) 

 

At first glance, this may seem like a trivial reason, such as the fact that Facebook requires this message to be added to your site when you advertise with them, and perhaps it is. I have no idea. I did not see any evidence of it; only one article mentions it without providing proof or confirmation from Facebook.

 

I asked the following question:

 

Why do you have this mention on your site?

 

”I have no idea; I saw several people put it there, so I put it there, I don’t even run Fb ads”

 

WHAT!!

 

How Dare You! Even if I’m not surprised.

 

Obviously, mentioning this on his site doesn’t put his business or life in danger, but it does reveal the mindset of the person. What else does a person do blindly? Maybe something else that could cost him an enormous amount of monee, and maybe even the success of his business… who knows…

 

As I was told when I was younger, if others throw themselves off the bridge, will you do it too? People think that AI, robots, etc. are new, but people have been acting like robots for many years before shutGPT appeared. They’ve been conditioned to follow the crowd and do what everyone else does without giving it much thought. They simply regurgitate the same things as everyone else, just like a prompt of shutGPT.

 

Yanovich is FRUSTRATED because people will follow others without thinking and invest their money and time in them.

 

Naive? Maybe.

 

Their fault? Maybe.
